Actor, producer and writer are some of the words that accompany the resume of this Spaniard who has adopted our country as his second home. In such a short time he has made it clear that there are no borders, but there is a desire for interesting projects, as has happened in recent years. With an acting career that began in Spain in 1996, Bardem debuted in our country with Rodrigo Plá's "La zona" (2007), and a year later he was cast in Agustín Díaz Yanes' Mexico-Spain co-production "Sólo quiero caminar". In 2011 he was part of "Días de gracia", by Everardo Gout, a film that brought him fame and recognition in our country. In 2014 came "González: Falsos profetas", by Christian Díaz Pardo, a film that gave him an Ariel Award nomination for Best Male Performance, as well as the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Morelia International Film Festival, and "Elvira, te daría mi vida pero la estoy usando", a film by Manolo Caro in which he plays a man who leaves his wife after falling in love with another man. He can currently be seen as a sports businessman in the Netflix original series "Club de Cuervos", the first of this digital platform made in Spanish. He was also part of the film adaptation of the novel "El complot mongol" by Sebastián del Amo.
Descended from a family of creators and artists, the brother of actor Javier Bardem is one of the most complete actors, because in addition to having the perspective as an actor, he has a keen eye as a writer -he has published four novels- and producer, which complements him in an extraordinary way and gives him a broader perspective of the film and television industry. In Spain he has had great cinematic successes such as "Celda 211", "Alacrán enamorado" -inspired by his 2007 novel of the same name-, "Torrente, el brazo tonto de la ley", "Perdita Durango", "Princesas", as well as in the co-production between Spain, France and Belgium "Escobar", alongside Benicio del Toro.
Carlos Bardem made a splash in the big leagues when his name appeared alongside Michael Fassbender in "Assassin's Creed", the film adaptation of the video game of the same name, which was eagerly awaited by fans. To continue his consolidation in the Anglo-Saxon market, Bardem was part of the series "The Son", along with Pierce Brosnan, which is based on the best seller of the same name by Philipp Meyer, which tells the story of a Texan family that in the early 19th century consolidates an economic empire over anyone who gets in its way.
Similarly, we can see him in feature films such as "Alegría, tristeza" (2018), "A pesar de todo" (2019) "Adiós" (2019), and soon in "Renko" by director David de Bartolome.
