Rodrigo Sepúlveda Urzúa / Director

He is a Chilean film and television director. He has worked for over 30 years in the industry. In television he has directed "Los Simuladores", "62: Historia de un Mundial", and the adaptation of the HBO series "In Treatment".
He was Executive Producer in the area of Fiction and Content Director at Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN).
His films, "Un ladrón y su mujer" (2002), both "Padre nuestro" (2005), and "Aurora" (2014) are original screenplays by Rodrigo. In 2020 he made the adaptation of the novel "Tengo miedo torero" by Pedro Lemebel. These films have been selected in the most important festivals in the world, the last one invited to the Venice Film Festival. On the other hand, his film "Ardiente Paciencia" was released in 2022 being the first original on Netflix Chile. In all his films, his interest in social issues and a clear narrative stand out. They are stories full of humanity and very powerful performances. He is currently in post-production of an original series for Amazon Chile.
