Regina Blandón

With twenty years of experience, Regina is one of the names with the greatest presence on the scene, with outstanding projects in theater, film and television.

Graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York, with complementary education and certified in "Advanced Acting" and "Shakespeare Studies", and selected to be part of the 2012 Academy Company.

She made her film debut as part of "El Misterio del Trinidad" (Dir. José Luis García Agraz), which earned her a nomination in the category of Best Female Co-Actress at the Ariel Awards (2004). This title would be followed by more film participations, including "Como novio de pueblo" (Dir. Joe Rendón), "Cindy la Regia" (Dir. Catalina Aguilar Mastretta, Santiago Limón), "Mirreyes vs. Godínez" 1 and 2 (Dir. Chava Cartas), "Guerra de Likes" (Dir. María Ripoll), "Sin hijos" (Dir. Roberto Fiesco), "Maquíllame Otra Vez" (Dir. Guillermo Calderón), "Con los años que me quedan" (Dir. Frank Ariza), "Invitación a un asesinato" (Dir. J. M. Cravioto), and "Firma Aquí" (Dir. Enrique Vázquez), among others, in addition to her participation as a voice actress in films such as "La Liga de los 5" (Ánima Estudios) and "Los Croods 2: Una nueva era" (DreamWorks Animation / Universal Pictures).

For the small screen, one of his first projects would be "La Familia P.Luche", an enormously successful broadcast that would add to his popularity from a very young age, in addition to other entertainment content such as "Renta Congelada" (Televisa), and series such as "El hotel de los secretos" (Univision), "Historia de un Crimen: La Búsqueda" (Netflix) and "Accidente" (Netflix).

In theater, she has starred in numerous productions, including the Spanish musical "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar" and "Bright Ideas", which won her the APT Award in the Best Comedy Actress category (2016). She was also part of the first edition of The 24 Hour Play in Mexico, and was one of the guest actresses in "White Rabbit, Red Rabbit", the globally acclaimed text by Nassim Soleimanpour. Some of her subsequent works in this field include "Parásitos", sharing the stage with Daniel Tovar; "The Pillowman", a text by Martin McDonagh; "El Paraíso de la Invención", with Marina de Tavira and Alfonso Herrera; "Excepto un Pájaro", with Joaquín Cosío and Juan Carlos Colombo; and "Pulmones", under the direction of Alonso Íñiguez.
