She began her career at a very young age, as part of "Voces inocentes" (Dir. Luis Mandoki), and later starred in films such as "Trade" (Dir. Marco Kreuzpaintner), "Sin Nombre" (Dir. Cary Fukunage), "Morirse en Domingo" (Dir. Daniel Gruener), "Cielo" (Dir. Gerardo Tort), "Cosas insignificantes" (Dir. Andrea Martínez) and "Deseo" (Dir. Antonio Zavala Krueger). These last two works would earn her critical acclaim with nominations for the Ariel Award for Best Actress (2010), and for the Diosa de Plata in the category of Female Role in a Leading Role (2014).
She continued to reap success in her career with "Somos lo que hay" (Dir. Jorge Michel Grau), selected to compete for the Camera d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival (2010); she participated in "Las Niñas Bien" (Dir. Alejandra Márquez Abella) and was nominated for that work for the Ariel Award in the category of Best Female Co-Acting (2019); "Territorio" (Dir. Andrés Clariond), in which she stars, was nominated for Best Mexican Film at the UNAM International Film Festival (2020); and "Souvenir" (Dir. Armond Cohen), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, was nominated for Best Mexican Feature Film at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (2019). She stars in "Me casé con un idiota" (Dir. Batan Silva), alongside Alfonso Herrera, and "Maquíllame otra vez" (Dir. Guillermo Calderón), sharing credits with Ilse Salas and Regina Blandón.
In television, she has participated in series such as "Diablo Guardián" (Prime Video), based on the acclaimed novel by Xavier Velasco; "The River", produced by Steven Spielberg; "Belascoarán" (Netflix), a project for which she would receive a Platinum Awards nomination for Best Female Performance in Miniseries or Teleseries (2023); "Capadocia" (Argos Comunicación); "El Presidente" (Prime Video); "No fue mi culpa" (Star Plus), a series that addresses real stories of gender violence; "Narcos" (Netflix); "Asesino del Olvido" (HBO Max), sharing credits with Damián Alcázar; "P#t@s Redes Sociales" (Prime Video), which she stars in; and "Las Muertas" (Netflix), the first series directed by Luis Estrada.
