Omar is an entertainment mogul in Mexico and in the U.S. Hispanic market. His millions of followers on social media attest to his great on-screen personality.

For television we have been able to see him in productions such as, "Las Viudas de los Jueves" for Netflix, "¿Quién es la Máscara" for Televisa, and the acclaimed international show also for Netflix, "Nailed It! Mexico".

Among his roles for international screens are "Pokémon, Detective Pikachu," in which he shares credits with Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith; "Stuck" (Dir. Michael Berry), winner of awards at festivals such as Breckenridge and Napa Valley; "Show Dogs" (Dir. Raja Gosnell), where he co-starred with Will Arnett and Natasha Lyonne; "Color Box" (Dir. Anthony Nardolillo); "Blackout" (Dir. Sam Macaroni), with Josh Duhamel; and "The Wingwalker" (Dir. Alonso Alvarez).

In 2017, Omar sold out more than 50 U.S. cities with his show "Unstoppable," including the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. In 2023, he packed the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City presenting "Yo Soy Omar Chaparro," a show he describes as an experience where all the paths of his being an artist come together, and which will soon tour in U.S. cities as well.
