Nicolasa Ortiz Monasterio

Graduated from the Centro Universitario de Teatro (CUT) of the UNAM.

Since she was a little girl, she has been looking for a solid career in the artistic field. At the age of eleven she was part of one of the most acclaimed children's series, "El Diván de Valentina", from Canal Once, created by Patricia Arriaga. She has participated in television projects such as "Falsos Falsificados" (Sony Pictures Television), "Diablo Guardián" (Amazon Prime Video), "Falco" (Amazon Prime Video), "Narcos: México" (Netflix) and "Máscara VS. Caballero" (Star+).

On the big screen we have seen her in titles such as "Sueño en otro idioma" (Dir. Ernesto Contreras), work that earned her a nomination for the Ariel Award in the category of Breakthrough Actress (2018). In addition, she lists participations in the feature films "Marioneta" (Dir. Álvaro Curiel), "Mr. Pig" (Dir. Diego Luna), "La Marca del Demonio" (Dir. Diego Cohen), "Olimpia" (Dir. J. M. Cravioto), "Cindy la Regia" (Dir. Santiago Limón) and "Trigal" (Dir. Anabel Caso), film with which she was recognized with a nomination for the Ariel Awards in the category of Female Co-Actress (2023) and with which she would win the Silver Goddess for Best Actress in a Female Role (2024).

Her work in stage creation has led her to work under the direction of figures such as Hugo Arrevillaga and Alberto Villarreal. She acted, directed and wrote, in collective creation, the play "Siete billones de habitantes y yo sigo teniendo frío", a play that participated in festivals such as the Muestra Nacional de Teatro (MNT) and the Encuentro Nacional de Artes Escénicas (ENARTES).
