One of her most outstanding films is "Roma" (Dir. Alfonso Cuarón), which co-stars Yalitza Aparicio. It was premiered at the Venice International Film Festival (2018), and awarded with recognitions such as the Golden Globe, Critics' Choice Awards, Goya Awards, BAFTA Awards and Oscar Awards. Marina, particularly, earned her an Oscar nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category (2019), competing with the likes of Amy Adams and Emma Stone. She was an Ariel Award winner in the Best Actress category (2019) and was nominated for the Platinum Awards in the Best Female Performance category (2019).
For television, he has been part of productions such as "Los Simuladores" (Sony Pictures Television), "Las Aparicio" (Argos Comunicación), "Capadocia" (HBO), "Ingobernable" (Netflix), "El Señor de los Cielos" (Telemundo), "Falco" (Prime Video) and "Now and Then" (Apple TV).

Together with Enrique Singer, he founded Incidente Teatro, a company with which they have staged works such as "Tradition", by Harold Pinter; "Crimes of the Heart", by Beth Henley; "La Mujer Justa", by Hugo Urquijo; "The Anarchist", by David Mamet, and "Consent", by Nina Raine, a work nominated for the Metro Awards 2023 in the category of Audience Award for Theatrical Experience of the Year.
