He started in the world of acting in his hometown. With formal theater studies at the Catholic University of Chile, and complementary education in Spain.
She began her career as part of popular Chilean television projects such as "Pituca sin Lucas" (Megavisión) and "Pobre Gallo" (Megavisión). Her first starring participation for the small screen occurs with "Perdona nuestros pecados", production of 2017 that would earn her a Copihue de Oro as Best Popular Actress. This would be followed by projects such as "Río Oscuro" (AGTV Producciones) and "La Jauría", a Fabula series for Amazon Prime Video in which she shares credits with actresses such as Antonia Zegers and Daniela Vega.
Her path in the film industry began with feature films such as "Hotel Zentai", by Leonardo Medel, a director with whom she had previously worked in short films and with whom she would later work again in the films "Harem" and "La Verónica". This last work earned her the Best Actress Award at the International Women's Film Festival in Aswan, Egypt.
Di Girolamo also starred in "Ema" (Dir. Pablo Larraín), a film that toured international film festivals such as Sundance, San Sebastian and Venice. This acting work has been widely praised, among other awards, with the Saint Jordi Award for Best Actress in a Foreign Film.
