She is currently one of the highest-grossing directors in Spanish cinema, with an international career and 12 feature films to her credit. She studied at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. She directed in London, "Lluvia en los zapatos". (Best Screenplay at the Montreal International Film Festival, Audience Award at the Sitges and Seattle Film Festivals. Nominated for Best New Director at the Goya Awards. With "Tortilla Soup" filmed in LA, she obtains box office success in USA and 9 ALMA nominations. Returns to Spain to direct "Utopia and your life in 65" (LA Film festival, Stockholm). Works in advertising and teaches courses in directing actors in ECAM, ESCAC, Central de CINE and AISGE in collaboration with Netflix. Publishes "Dos Mujeres Desnudas" her first book of short stories.

Produces and directs "Cromosoma Cinco" for TVE. He directs between "Bombay and Barcelona", "Rastros de Sándalo", gets best film at GAUDI 2014 and Public award in Montreal. Directs "Ahora o Nunca" and "No Culpes al Karma de lo que te Pasa por Gilipollas", big box office success and both go to Miami Film Festival. "Vivir Dos Veces" 2019 was also a big hit for Netflix. He directs in Mexico "Guerra de Likes", for Sony and Amazon. In 2022 premiered for Amazon "A Private Affair" series with Jean Reno also that same year premieres at the Malaga Festival "We will not kill each other with guns" He is currently in development of several series and feature films.
