Joserra Zúñiga / Writer

Joserra Zúñiga is a creative specialized in entertainment and fiction formats with more than 12 years dedicated to the development and writing of television programs for Latin America. He has also participated in more than 17 plays as playwright, director or both. He wrote and directed "La Sopa" on E! Entertainment Television for over 6 years. He has worked in the supervision and execution of programs such as "Mexico's Next Top Model", "Ya es Ya ½ día en China", "E! Latin News", "Fashion Police Mexico", "Opening Act", "El Incorrecto", "El Vato" and "Chumel con Chumel Torres" on HBO. He recently developed "Supertitlán", a Mexican adaptation of Superstore, a series co-produced with NBC Universal. In theater he has written "Quiero Volverme Supernova", "Bule Bule" (ACPT Award: Best Mexican Musical), "Elena 1984", "Las Noches con Monina Mistral" (ACPT Award: Cabaret). He has translated and adapted musicals such as "The Last Five Years" and Disney's "Aladdin". He has recently directed and adapted the plays "Agotados" (Metro Award: Best Comedy 2022) and "Smiley" by Guillem Cluá.
