Jesica Aran is a screenwriter and director, known for the television series "Pájaros Negros" (2016) and the science fiction short film "Abaddon" (2018). She is also the creator of "Camp Newton" (2022), a live-action children's show that aired on Disney Spain.
His work has been recognized by the National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts of Argentina for production or development, and his scripts have been finalists in pitch sessions at important international markets such as Series Mania, Conecta Fiction, MIPTV, NATPE, Pixelatl and Ventana Sur.
Jesica is currently finishing post-production on "Vamos Viendo", her second series as director and first as showrunner. She is also the creator and script coordinator of "Olvida mi Nombre", a series in development for RTVE Spain, and one of the screenwriters of an upcoming series to be released on Netflix.
Passionate about storytelling, Jesica enjoys the creative challenge of turning stories into reality. She specializes in creating TV series and fiction feature films, leading teams of screenwriters to develop pitch and sales documents. With comics published in Argentina and Italy, she has also worked on concepts for children's animated series.
Beyond writing and directing, Jesica offers consulting services and script analysis, in addition to providing personalized advice to companies and other writers. She studied television scriptwriting at ECAM (Spain) and furthered her training with classes from James V. Hart and Thania St. John at the Sundance Institute.
