Rodrigo Sepúlveda Urzúa / Director

Graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (C.C.C.) with honors as a film director. His debut feature film "Un Mundo Secreto" was selected in Films in Progress at the San Sebastian Film Festival, premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, winner of the Mezcal and Cinecolor awards at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.

"Ayer Maravilla Fui" her 2nd film was premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and was awarded Best First or Second Film and Best Actress. She also won Best Film and the International Critics Award (FIPRESCI) at the Los Cabos International Film Festival.

Gabriel has directed different contents in Europe for brands such as Mr. Porter (UK) and international organizations such as FIFA. He has directed series such as "El Chapo" produced by Univision and Story house for Netflix, "Diablero" produced by Morena Films for Netflix and "Monarca" produced by Lemon Films & Salma Hayek for Netflix, recently he was one of the directors of the series "Marea Alta" produced by El Estudio for VIX. He is currently preparing his new feature film "Ya se quiere venir la noche" which has won several grants, scholarships and awards for film projects in development.

Gabriel currently resides between Mexico City and Berlin working on projects in both continents. He is preparing in Germany the documentary project "The road trip that never happened" about the German band Milky Chance. During 2023 he filmed the adventure, romance and action series, "Bandidos" for Netflix, which has remained since its premiere in the TOP 10 most watched series in Mexico.
