Trained at the International School of the Jaques Lecoq Movement in Paris, France, Francisco Denis is one of the most interesting actors and directors of theater and film in Venezuela.
For several years he was a member of the Philippe Genty Company where he toured the most important theaters and festivals in Europe, Asia and America with his show "Ne M'Oublie Pas". He directs his own theater company, Rio Caribe, with which he has obtained national and international recognition as actor, writer and director. His most recognized shows have been "Machete Caníbal", "Bajo Tierra", "Ubú Rey", "Terra Nostra", "El Temblor de la Sonrisa", "Tarkari de Chivo", among others. These plays have also been written by Denis, innovating the contemporary Venezuelan and continental scene.
In Venezuelan cinema, his participation in films such as: "Libertador" (Dir. Alberto Arvelo), alongside actor Edgar Ramírez, as well as titles such as "De Repente" (Dir. Luis Armando Roche), "Operación Orión" (Dir. Rubén Hernández Orión), "Chilangolandia" (Dir. Carlos Santos), "Kueka: Cuando las piedras hablan" (Dir. Francisco Franco) and "La Sombra del Catire" (Dir. Jorge Hernández Aldana), premiered at the 21st edition of the Morelia International Film Festival.
For television, he was invited to participate in the series "Narcos" (Netflix), where he co-starred in the third season alongside Damián Alcázar. He also participates in the second season of "Jack Ryan" (Prime Video), alongside actors Krasinski and Michel Kelly, in "Narcos: Mexico" (Netflix), "La Venganza de las Juanas" (Netflix) and "Diario de un gigoló" (Telemundo).
