Esmeralda Soto

Known for her career in comedy, Esmeralda Soto is an actress who began her career in the theatrical field, an environment for which she received formal education as part of CasAzul.

She debuted with the play "Marionnette Muette", a pantomime play with two seasons running, and began to make her way through social networks, as a comedian and feminist activist.

Among his professional works he lists titles such as "Las Bravas F.C." (HBO Max), "Reputación Dudosa" (Clarovideo), "Ana" (Prime Video) and "La flor más bella" (Netflix) for television, in addition to "Navidad en vivo" (Dir. Salvador Suárez Obregón), "Los (casi) ídolos de Bahía Colorada" (Dir. Ricardo Castro Velázquez) and "No gracias, ya no fumo" (Dir. Diego Toussaint), his first film projects.

With experience also as part of the stand up scene in Mexico, he has collaborated with figures such as Sofia Niño de Rivera, Karla Camacho, Isabel Fernandez, Mau Nieto and Manu NNa, among others.

Esmeralda has complementary training in addition to her acting career, including degrees in Art History and Mexican History -both from the Teatro Helénico-, clown workshops, voice dubbing -under the direction of Humberto Vélez- and more.
