Elizabeth Guindi

Actress with more than two decades of experience in the artistic field.

She began her artistic career as a musician, playing the cello, and later developed as an opera singer, while studying as part of the last generation of Stanislavski's students. She is accepted in Sandra Seacat's master classes, where she has the opportunity to work with directors such as Alfonso Cuarón in "Great Expectations", and with Luis Mandoki in "Message in a bottle", sharing credits with Kevin Costner.

In Los Angeles he works with Sandra Seacat, and in New York he meets Elizabeth Kemp, who would become his coach for the following years of his career. During her stay in the US she works for the first time with filmmakers such as Alfonso Cuarón, Luis Mandoki and Mike Figgs.

Upon his return to Mexico he is part of film productions such as "El Misterio del Trinidad" (Dir. José Luis García Agraz), "El viaje de la Nonna" (Dir. Batan Silva), "Tiempos Felices" (Dir. Luis Javier Henaine), "Cuernavaca" (Dir. Alejandro Andrade), and blockbusters such as "Hazlo como hombre" (Dir. Nicolás López), "Tod@s Caen" (Dir. Ariel Winograd), "On the Rocks" (Dir. Sofia Coppola), "¿Cómo matar a mamá?" (Dir. José Ramón Chávez) and "Me vuelves loca" (Dir. Boris Quercia).

Within Mexican television she has been part of broadcasts such as "Terminales" (Televisa); "Yo no creo en los hombres" (Televisa), "Soy tu Fan" (Canal Once); "Mujeres Asesinas" (Televisa), "Sr. Avila" (HBO); "Yago" (Televisa); the Netflix hits "Club de Cuervos," "La Casa de las Flores" and "Luis Miguel: La Serie"; "Doña Flor y sus dos Maridos" (Televisa); and "Eternamente Amándonos" (Televisa).

Some of her most outstanding performances in theater are "Nunca es tarde para aprender francés", directed by Manolo Caro; "¿Quéhacemos con Moscú? directed by Acoyani Guzmán; and "Reporte Meteorológico", directed by Pablo Mandoki. Among her best works on stage are "Los Monólogos de las Reinas de Shakespeare", created and directed by her and presented at Teatro la Capilla; "El Rey Lear", directed by Rodrigo Johnson; "Buscando a Hamlet", presented in Berlin under the direction of Antonio Salinas; and "Indecente", text by Paula Vogel directed by Cristian Magaloni, which has been highly acclaimed by specialized critics with nominations at the ACPT Awards (2023) and at Los Metro (2023).

In addition to her work as an actress, she worked as a director, taking the baton of three operas at the Teatro de la Ciudad: "Elixir de Amor", "Las Bodas de Fígaro" and "Rigoletto".
