Elena Anaya

The magnetism that Elena Anaya exerts on any stage is immediate and scorching.

It is not surprising that shortly after beginning her acting studies she was chosen by director Alfonso Ungría to star in Africaalongside Imanol Arias, work that would later lead her to star in films such as '¿De Qué se Ríen las Mujeres? (directed by Joaquín Oristrell), 'Lágrimas Negras' (Dir. (Dir. Fernando Bauluz, Ricardo Franco), 'Finisterre: Donde termina el mundo' (Finisterre: Where the World Ends). (Dir. Javier Villaverde) and The Winter of the Anjanas' (Dir. Pedro Telechea) and 'El Invierno de las Anjanas' (Dir. Pedro Telechea). (Dir. Pedro Telechea).

Recognition on a larger scale would begin to come with 'Lucia and Sex'. Lucia and Sex' (Dir. Julio Medem) (Dir. Julio Medem), a film that would earn her the award for Best Supporting Actress from the Spanish Actors Union (2001), as well as a nomination for the Goya Award in the category of Best Supporting Female Actress (2001).

He began to develop in the Anglo-Saxon field, taking part in productions such as Van Helsing: Monster Hunter' (Dir. Stephen Sommers), alongside Hugh Jackman, and 'Van Helsing: Monster Hunter' (Dir. Stephen Sommers). (Dir. Stephen Sommers), along with Hugh Jackman, and Dead Fish' (Dir. Charley Stadler) (Dir. Charley Stadler), sharing credits with Gary Oldman.

Back to European cinema, he worked under the direction of figures such as Agustín Díaz Yanes in Bendito Infierno' (Blessed Hell) y Alatriste' and 'Alatriste'.back with Julio Medem to star in 'La Habitación en Roma'. La Habitación en Roma' (The Room in Rome)which would lead her to receive a Goya Award nomination for Best Leading Female Performance (2010); and with Pedro Almodóvar in Hable con ella' (Talk to her) and starring in La piel que habito' (The Skin I Live In)a title of notable relevance with which she would win the Goya Award for Best Leading Female Performance (2011) and the Fotogramas de Plata Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture ( 2011).

Another of the projects with which she continued to forge her international projection was the super production of Wonder Woman (Dir. Patty Jenkins), in which he was seen alongside Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Robin Wright, and, for his part 'The Infiltrator' (Dir. Brad Furman), in which he appears alongside actor Bryan Cranston.

Among his extensive filmography are Mexican projects such as The Blue Room' (Dir. Walter Doehner) and 'La Habitación Azul' (Dir. Walter Doehner). (Dir. Walter Doehner) and Todos Están Muertos' (All Are Dead) (Dir. Beatriz Sanchíz).
