Claudia González-Rubio / Writer

Screenwriter and director from Mexico City with extensive experience in film and television. Her most recent writing credits include the feature film "Cuando los hijos regresan", one of the biggest box office hits in Mexico in 2017 (currently on Star+ and Pantaya). During 2018 she was a staff writer on "Falco" (Amazon Prime), which received an Emmy for Best Non-English Language Television Program in 2019. He wrote and directed the short film "My soul is old" for which he received production support from IMCINE (Mexican Film Institute) and was selected in multiple film festivals, including the Morelia International Film Festival. It was also part of the top ten most watched contents on Filmin Latino in 2019.

In 2021 he wrote the feature film "Sin sangre no hay mole" a black comedy for HBOmax. He has developed series and feature films for various production companies such as Perro Azul, Fábula, Propagate and Alebrije Producciones. In 2023 he obtained the Fiscal Stimulus for investment projects in national film production (EFICINE) with his debut film "Lavar la herida", currently in pre-production.
