Bárbara Lennie

With an interesting personality and a promising future thanks to more than innovative proposals, Bárbara Lennie combines theater and cinema in the international arena. The Madrid-born actress has stood out in films such as "La piel que habito" (2011), in which she worked with one of Spain's most controversial and proactive directors, Pedro Almodovar, as well as alongside experienced actors such as Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya and Jan Cornet.

To her career we can add "Obaba" (2005), by Montxo Armendáriz, and "Stella cadente" (2014), by Lluís Miñarro. Lennie has won several awards for her passionate work on the big screen, which has opened the doors to projects as diverse as interesting for the development of her career and the conquest of a greater number of spectators. She won the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos Award for Best Leading Actress for her performance in "Magic Girl" (2015), by Carlos Vermut, as well as the Feroz Award, the Goya Award, the José María Forqué Award and the Fotograma de Plata for the same role and in the same category. She also won the Sant Jordi Award in 2010 for Best Spanish Actress in the film "Los condenados" and the Gaudí Award in 2015 for Best Supporting Actress for the film "El niño". The also graduated in Acting from the Royal School of Dramatic Art, has also excelled in films such as "Dictado", "Todas las canciones hablan de mí", "Mujeres en el parque", "La bicicleta", "Todos los días son tuyos" and "Trece Rosas". In television, he was part of "El incidente", "Águila Roja", "Amar en tiempos revueltos" and in the historical series "Isabel", while in theater he was part of "El trío en mi bemol" (2009), "Veraneantes" (2011) and "La función por hacer" (2009).

Among his most recent projects are the films "Oro", a drama by Agustín Díaz Yanes, in which he will share credits with Óscar Jaenada and Anna Castillo, "María (y los demás)", by Nely Reguera with Julián Villagrán and Rocío León, "Las furias", by Miguel del Arco, "The Invisible Guest" by Orion Paulo, "petra" by Jaime Rosales, "Todos saben" by Asghar Farhadi and "El Candidato" by Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
