Ángel Pulido Alonso / Writer

Mexican writer. Studied screenwriting and film production in Canada and Madrid. He has worked on several film scripts, including: "Bajo la Sal" (2008) produced by Warner Bros Mexico. In 2007, "Hasta el viento tiene miedo" based on the original story by Carlos Enrique Taboada, and in 2016 he adapted the unpublished plot "Jirón de niebla", with which he received an Ariel nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2015 he participated in the musical comedy "Eddie Reynolds y los Ángeles de Acero". He has also written the remakes of the successful Chilean films "Qué pena tu vida" (2016), "Una mujer sin filtro" (2018) and "En las buenas y en las malas" (2019). In 2022, he wrote the animated film "La Leyenda de Finado y Moribunda" for Vix+, and was screenwriter and producer of the comedy "Lecciones para canallas".

In television he has participated in the series "El Pantera" and "Enemigo Íntimo". In 2019 he is selected to participate in the Ibero-American Project Development Program with the script "Los hijos de la noche", and in 2021 he is selected by Filmarket Hub to participate in the Latam Online Pitchbox with the project "La madre de las serpientes", currently in development in collaboration with Viacom International Studios.
