Ana Martín

First Mexican actress.

With more than five decades of experience, he has worked under the direction of Ernesto Alonso, Arturo Ripstein, and shared credits with actresses and actors such as Marga López, Isela Vega, Sara García, Ignacio López Tarso, Roberto Cobo and more.

He made his acting debut on the big screen in 1965 with "El Gángster" (Dir. Luis Alcoriza), with Arturo de Córdova and Angélica María. In the following years he would list other titles such as "Corona de Lágrimas" (Dir. Alejandro Galindo), "Blue Demon contra las Diabólicas" (Dir. Chano Ureta), "Fin de Fiesta" (Dir. Mauricio Walerstein), "Lágrimas de mi barrio" (Dir. Rubén Galindo), "El lugar sin límites" (Dir. Arturo Ripstein), "Cadena Perpetua" (Dir. Arturo Ripstein), "Corazones Rotos" (Dir. Rafael Montero), "Canela" (Dir. Jordi Mariscal), and has his return to the movies almost ten years later with "¡Que Viva México!" (Dir. Luis Estrada).

She entered television as part of "Mi primer amor", sharing credits with Raúl Ramirez, Ofelia Guilmain and Diana Bracho. Later, she would join important television titles with leading roles in "Muchacha de Barrio", "Gabriel y Gabriela", El pecado de Oyuki", "Gente bien", and starring roles in "Rubí", "La Madrastra", "Destilando amor", "La Desalmada" and "Los pecados de Bárbara", among others. Today she is one of the greatest leading actresses on the small screen.

Her work has been awarded and nominated for awards such as the Ariel and the Diosa de Plata, but in addition to her acting work, she also worked as producer of projects such as "El Pecado de Oyuki" and "Morir para Vivir" (1989), with Claudia Ramírez and Susana Dosamantes.
