Actress originally from Tehuantepec, Oaxaca. Since she was a child she showed interest in art and acting, a fact that contributed to her joining the Tehuantepec Theater Group. Later, she moved to Mexico City to study with Ludwik Margules at the Foro de Arte Contemporáneo, as well as at the Centro Universitario de Teatro(CUT) of the UNAM and at the School Creative Institute of Vancouver, Canada.
He has developed his career mainly in the cinematographic field, being part of projects such as The Violin' (Dir. Francisco Vargas) (directed by Francisco Vargas), 'El Traspatio' (The Backyard) (Dir. Carlos Carrera), 'Restos' (Remains) (Dir. Alfonso Pineda Ulloa), 'Elvira, te daría mi vida pero la estoy usando' (Elvira, I'd give you my life but I'm using it) (Dir. Manolo Caro), 'One last one and we're leaving' (Dir. Noé Santillán). (Dir. Noé Santillán-López), 'Los trapos sucios se lavan en casa' (Dir. Diego Muñoz). (Dir. Diego Muñoz) and Welcome to the North' (Dir. Gustavo Loza) and 'Welcome to the North' (Dir. Gustavo Loza). (Dir. Gustavo Loza), among others, thus widely exploring his acting range between drama and comedy.
He has also ventured into television projects, with participations in productions such as Capadocia(Argos Comunicación), El Dandy' (Televisa)(Televisa), El Colapso' (ViX)(ViX), 'Doctora Lucía' (Doctora Lucía)(TV Azteca) and starring in 'Las Azules' (Apple TV+)(Apple TV+).
Amorita has been actively involved in bringing art to the indigenous communities of Oaxaca. On the acting side, she has returned to the theater as part of 'Emilia', by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm produced by MIO Projects, which had its premiere at the Helénico Theater. Prior to this work, she was part of The Adventures of Frida', by Fer Batiby Fer Bati, Conchi León and Alonzo Mercado, with a season at the Nuevo Teatro Silvia Pinal.
