Alexandra Dunnet-Alcocer is half Mexican, half Scottish; born and raised in Mexico. Her career as a writer stems from the need to tell stories with female characters where women like her mother and sisters can feel identified. She is co-creator, co-writer and co-star of the comedy series "Estas Viejas" with two seasons on Youtube. She participated as a writer in the Spotify series "El grupo" which was in the top three as the most listened podcast on the platform for months.
Worked as a screenwriter and on the Mexican localization of the HBO series "El cuaderno Rojo" produced by RMV Enterprises. Received the best screenplay award at the 48 Hour Film Project festival for the short film "Dale like y comparte" He wrote the feature film "Miss Knockout" produced by "Animal de luz" which he intends to film in 2024.
She is currently developing several projects with "Perro Azul" as a writer. She is also creator and writer of the series INMADURABLES produced by Agazajo Films and REDRUM.
